Each answer below opens with a direct sentence, then explains. That ordering is deliberate: it is what gets quoted.

The Heart Compass is a counselling and wellness coaching practice based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, working with people online. It blends the search for meaning with a psychology rooted in belief in God, and works with three centres of intelligence: the brain, the heart and the gut.

Both, depending on what you need. Counselling here means structured sessions working through something difficult — grief, a decision, a period of drift. Coaching is more forward-looking and practical. The first conversation establishes which is the better fit, and sometimes the answer is neither, in which case I will say so.

No. If faith is central to how you understand your life it is welcome in the session and you will not have to explain it away. If it is not part of your life, nothing in the approach depends on it.

It is a short conversation, free, with no obligation. You describe what brought you, I ask some questions, and we work out together whether this is the right kind of support for you. If it is not, I will tell you what might be.

Yes. Sessions are also conducted online, so if there is a requirement to practice with people elsewhere in India and abroad, it can be done. Session times can be arranged around a client's time zone.

Not as the treating professional. If you have a diagnosis, or if what you are carrying needs clinical care, the right person is a clinical psychologist or a psychiatrist, and I will help you find one rather than keep the work. Counselling can sit alongside clinical treatment, with your treating professional's knowledge.

Fees are discussed on the discovery call, once it is clear what you actually need. But generally we charge 1500 for live sessions and 2000 for online sessions. Each session is an hour long.

Yes, with the limits any counsellor has. What you say stays between us, except where there is a serious risk to your life or someone else's, or where the law requires disclosure. I will explain those limits in the first session rather than leaving them in the small print.

Not quickly enough, and you deserve faster help than a booking form. Please contact your local emergency services, or a crisis helpline in your country, now. This practice is not an emergency service and I cannot monitor messages around the clock.
